- Division G in Courtroom 18 - The Honorable Paul T. Jeske, County Court Judge in Tampa, Hillsborough County, FL, will be assigned to your misdemeanor or DUI case if your last name begins with the following letters - A, E, J, I, Q, T, V or Z. Judge Jeske was assigned to replace Judge Huey. Judge Huey was assigned to replace the Honorable Elizabeth G. Rice after the Governor appointed her to a vacant Circuit Court position.
- Divison E in Courtroom 19 - The Honorable Richard A. Weis, County Court Judge, Tampa, Hillsborough County, FL will be assigned to your misdemeanor criminal traffic or DUI case if your last name begins with one of the following letters - H, L or W. Judge Weis took over the division from the Honorable www.fljud13.org/JudicialDirectory/LawrenceMLefler.aspxLawrence Lefler, Judge, Tampa HIllsborough County, FL, who is now assigned to the Unified Family Court, Domestic Violence Division G.
- Division D in Courtroom 20 - The Honorable Dick Greco, Jr., County Court Judge in Tampa, Hillsborough County, FL, will be assigned to your impaired driving or misdemeanor case if your last name begins with the following letters - C, K, or R. Judge Greco was assigned to replace the Honorable Cheryl Thomas, Judge in Tampa, Hillsborough County, FL, after she was appointed to a vacant Circuit Court position.
The East County Court Judicial Assignments in Plant City, FL
For any case in the East County Criminal Division of Hillsborough County located in the Plant City Courthouse - the Honorable Art McNeil, County Court Judge, Hillsborough County, FL, will be assigned to your misdemeanor criminal or DUI case, regardless of the first letter of your last name. The Plant City Courthouse serves Sun City Center, Seffner, Fish Hawk, Bloomingdale and surrounding areas in the eastern part of Hillsborough County, FL.
Role of the Judge
The role of the County Court Judges in Hillsborough County is to oversee the courtroom proceedings in a criminal case that will render a result that is based on a impartial and fair assessment of the evidence presented.
